Humans First
Welcome to the web site of the Internet Psychology Research Institute.
We exist to research and promote human centered approaches to the
development of internet resources.
This site is currently under development, but if you follow some of the
links from this home page, you'll get a sense of what the site is about. For
example, you'll see to your left links dealing with internet
consumer education and protection.
What's this about? It's about empowering internet users so that they are able
to make informed choices about the resources they consume on the internet
(primarily information) and the tools that they make use of (for example,
the ability to shop on the internet).
If you look to
the links above
here, you'll notice
a News
Room section.
There you will
find a news feed
(forthcoming)
- and also areas
where we feature
selected news
stories (including
a Happy
News section!).
You might like
to click on the
link - and have
a look at the
stories we're
currently featuring.
The IPRI is a
non-profit, virtual
organization.
That means we
need financial
and other support
for our survival.
If you have a
look at our Support
section, there's
information about
how you can help
us if you feel
that you are able.
We hope you enjoy
your visit to
the site. We welcome
your feedback

how to get in
